On the heels of success that Europe 72 generated for the Dead and the venture into larger halls that ensued; arenas, gymnasiums, hockey rinks, outdoor raceways and stadiums promoting their wild imaginations and vivid aspirations in terms of a horizontally monolithic line-sourced sound system....

1976 re-introduced a smaller scale production (franklins tower), a return to more intimate music halls, new material (fewer cowboy songs), stage monitors for the vocalists (looks like rain), two drummers (samson) enabling a more rock n roll ensemble orchestration (help on the way) demonstrating this bands ability to stop on a dime and yield nine cents in change.

Reviewed this performance a few months ago and if you wish to read it, you'll know where to find it;

“for when words move towards silence, thus and only the music remains”....

Thanks CM.
